Hi! We just started doing a new topic in algebra regarding solving equations by adding or subtracting decimals and I did well for most homeworks we had but the latest one my professor gave hard so I'd love if someone would assist me to understand it! It’s a problem solving homework my algebra professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried doing it but still can’t get it right. I can’t answer it with ease unlike the other homeworks . I had no trouble solving my past homeworks but this particular homework with specific topic of hypotenuse-leg similarity just gives me difficulty just knowing how to start . I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really be grateful if someone help me in showing the steps and how to answer it in a systematic and clear way.

Kids can’t seem to think of anything beyond extra classes . Why don’t you try something yourself? There are many resources for solving equations by adding or subtracting decimals which are much better than tutoring. Try Algebrator, and you will never need a tutor.

1.Hey mate, you are on the mark about Algebrator! It is absolutely fab! I downloaded it recently from https://alegremath.com/introduction-to-matlab.html after a friend suggested it to me. Now, all I do is type in the problem from my text book and click on Solve. Bingo! I get a step-by-step solution to my algebra homework. It’s almost like a tutor is teaching it to you. I have been using it for three weeks and so far, haven’t come across any assignment that Algebrator can’t solve. I have learnt so much from it!

I just pray this thing isn’t very complicated. I am not so good with the computer stuff. Can I get the product description, so I know what it has to offer?

Thanks for the information. I have purchased the Algebrator from https://alegremath.com/problems-on-adding-and-subtracting-fractions.html and I happened to read through decimals yesterday. It is pretty cool and easily understandable. I was attracted by the detailed explanations offered on long division. Rather than being exam oriented, the Algebrator aims at educating you with the basics of Intermediate algebra. The payment guarantee and the unimaginable discounts that they are currently offering makes the purchase particularly appealing .
