I'm just thinking if someone can give me a few pointers here so that I can understand the basics of solve x2 9 x 3. I find solving problems really tough . I work part time and thus have no time left to take extra tutoring . Can you guys suggest any online resource that can help me with this subject?

You might want to check out Algebrator. I bought it some time back to help me with my Basic Math course and I can say that it was a wise decision. There are so many examples present which you can go through. You can also try out the questions related to interval notation and slope by just typing them in. Algebrator provides comprehensive description to the problems which helps to make difficult concepts very clear. I would say that this program is absolutely the best that money can buy.

Welcome aboard friend . This subject is very appealing , but you need to know your concepts and techniques first. Algebrator has helped me a lot in my course. Do give it a try and it will work for you as well .

hyperbolas, linear equations and multiplying fractions were a nightmare for me until I found Algebrator, which is really the best algebra program that I have ever come across. I have used it frequently through many algebra classes – Algebra 2, Intermediate algebra and Pre Algebra. Simply typing in the algebra problem and clicking on Solve, Algebrator generates step-by-step solution to the problem, and my math homework would be ready. I really recommend the program.
