Hello there I have almost taken the decision to hire a math tutor , because I've been having a lot of problems with math homework this year. Every day when I come home from school I spend hours and hours with my algebra homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not certain if a algebra tutor is worth it, since it's so expensive , and who knows, maybe it's not even that good . Does anyone know anything about how to fgure out intersections of inequalities that can help me? Or maybe some explanations about difference of cubes, linear inequalities or trigonometry? Any suggestions will be valued.

This story sounds familiar to me. Although I was good in algebra for several years, when I attended Intermediate algebra there were a lot of math topics that seemed so complicated . I remember I got a very bad grade when I took the exam on how to fgure out intersections of inequalities. Now I don't have this problem anymore, I can solve anything quite easily , even converting decimals and distance of points. I was smart that I didn't spend my money on a teacher , because I heard of Algebrator from a a colleague. I have been using it since then whenever I had to solve something complicated.

I agree , a good software can do miracles . I tried a few but Algebrator is the best . It doesn't matter what class you are in, I myself used it in College Algebra and Pre Algebra as well , so you don't have to be concerned that it's not on your level. If you never had a program until now I can tell you it's very easy , you don't have to know anything about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the program solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.

Thank you, I will check out the suggested software. I have never tried any program before , I didn't even know that they exist. But it sure sounds great ! Where did you find the software ? I want to buy it right away, so I have time to get ready for the exam.

I remember having problems with angle complements, greatest common factor and y-intercept. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Intermediate algebra, Remedial Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
