Hey dudes, I am about halfway through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to pick up the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with test out of college algebra. Could somebody out there please teach me with absolute values, matrices and rational equations. I can’t afford to get a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of understanding topics like triangle similarity or parallel lines without fuss , please let me know Thanks a lot

You really shouldn’t have spent money on a private tutor . Had you posted this message before hiring one of those, you could have saved yourself loads of money! Anyway, what’s done is done . In order to make sure that you do well in your exams I would recommend trying Algebrator. It’s a user-friendly software. It can solve the really tough ones for you, and what’s even cooler is the fact that it can even explain how to go about solving it! At one point in time when even I was having difficulty understanding side-side-side similarity, angle-angle similarity and equivalent fractions. But thanks to Algebrator, everything’s good now.

I didn’t use that Algebrator software yet but I heard from my peers that it really does help in solving algebra problems. Since then, I noticed that my classmates don’t really have troubles answering some of the problems in class. It might really have been efficient in improving their solving abilities in algebra. I am eager to use it someday because I believe it can be very effective and help me have a good mark in math .

I remember having difficulties with algebra formulas, system of equations and like denominators. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, Basic Math and Remedial Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.

It’s amazing that a software can do that. I didn’t expect something like that could really help in algebra. I’m used to be tutored by a teacher but this really sounds cool. Do you have any links for this software ?
